Four Injured in Boone County Crash

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday in Boone County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2009 Buick Lucerne, driven by 29-year-old Sonnikqua A. McKamey of Marshall, failed to stop at a stop sign at Highway 40 and Rollingwood Boulevard just before 1130 a.m., and entered into the path of a westbound 2013 Ford F-150, driven by 56-year-old Lonnie D. Duncan of Glasgow, resulting in a crash.

The Buick traveled off the left side of the roadway, while the Ford traveled off the right side.

McKamey suffered serious injuries, and was transported to University Hospital by Boone County Ambulance District. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

37-year-old Brandon T. Lewis of Marshall, an occupant in the Buick suffered moderate injuries, and was also transported to University Hospital by Boone County Ambulance District. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

A one-year-old male in the Buick suffered serious injuries and was transported to University Hospital by Boone County Ambulance District, then later flown to St. Louis Children's Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

Duncan suffered moderate injuries, and was transported to University Hospital by Boone County Ambulance District.

Both vehicles were totaled.
