The Sacred Heart Gremlins blew out Smithton 11-1 on Tuesday.

Sacred Heart got things started in the first inning when Bryan Schlotterbeck drove in Nolan Walker on a line drive single up the middle. A bases clearing three RBI triple in the 6th inning from Chase Marshall led to the mercy rule.

Easton Webb earned the win for Sacred Heart. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out one and walking zero.  Zaine Dover threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen allowing one run on two hits with five strikeouts.

J.T. Parker took the loss for Smithton. He lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing seven hits and eight runs while striking out seven.

Sacred Heart racked up nine hits on the day.  Dallin Chappell, Nolan Walker and Schlotterbeck each collected multiple hits for the Gremlins.

Sacred Heart (6-6) play Stover (1-7) at home Thursday.
