California, MO Man Arrested after Firearms Found During Search

A 59-year old man from California, MO was recently arrested on weapon and assault charges in Moniteau County.

The Moniteau County Sheriff's Department says that on Saturday (Oct 27), deputies were contacted by a female victim about a physical assault that had taken place at a residence on Jacket Factory Road just south of California.

Deputies responded to the location to speak with the suspect, identified as 59-year old Bradley Martin Osborn.

Osborn reportedly refused to come out of the residence. Deputies then applied for a search warrant, which was granted.

Deputies eventually made entry into the residence and arrested Osborn.

A press release from the Moniteau County Sheriff says several firearms, which Osborn cannot legally own, were taken as evidence.

Osborn is facing charges of felony 3rd Degree Domestic Assault and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. He has a bond of $75,000.
