The City of Sedalia’s Utilities Staff will be working at South Kentucky and 20th Street beginning Tuesday, June 4 at 7 a.m. and continuing until 6 p.m. to repair a failed storm sewer.

Travelers should anticipate South Kentucky Avenue being closed to through traffic just south of its intersection with West 20th.

Residents living along South Kentucky Ave. will need to coordinate with City Crews on site should they need access to their driveways. Northbound travelers on South Kentucky are encouraged to turn east or west at West 24th Street.

Southbound travelers are encouraged to turn east or west at West 20th Street.

Heavy equipment and workers will be operating in and near the roadway during this period. This work is weather and equipment dependent and the re-opening date may be affected by inclement weather or equipment breakdowns, the City said.
