Clinton Woman Injured in Rear-end Collision

A Clinton woman was injured after slamming into another vehicle Thursday morning in Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 1995 Saturn driven by 19-year-old Breanna K. Smith of Clinton was following an eastbound 2018 Toyota Sequoia driven by 48-year-old Jitra Bartlett of Clinton on Missouri 7, west of Tightwad at 8 a.m. Dec. 19, when the Sequoia slowed to make a right-hand turn and was struck from behind by the Saturn.

Smith had minor injuries and was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Both drivers were wearing a seat belt, the report said

Both vehicles had minor damage.
