Two Marshall residents were injured in a two-car collision that occurred Wednesday morning in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2012 Chevy Cruze, driven by a 23-year-old woman from Marshall, was on US Highway 65, north of Speyer Road, around 7:45 a.m., when the Chevy turned in front of a northbound 2011 Chrysler Town & Country, driven by a 35-year-old man from Marshall.

The Chrysler then struck the Chevy.

The driver of the Town & Country suffered minor injuries, while the driver of the Cruze suffered moderate injuries. Both were transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed by Diehm’s Towing.
