Bow season is here and I’m lovin' the weather. I got a call this week from Harold Ray and he has something for you to win. Stop into Ray’s Custom Butchery 7 miles East of Sedalia on 50 Hwy during bow season and register to win a $100 gift certificate towards deer processing for gun season.  Two certificates will be given away and I’ll get to announce the winners November 2.

This Saturday, Sedalia is busy with all kinds of events going on!  The MO Kids Outdoors and the American Legion post 642 have their Field Day.  From 10-2 at Clover Dell, we will have fishing with a Vet.  We’ll supply hotdogs for bait and we’ll have some fishing poles from the conservation department to lend out, but if you have your own pole, then bring it.  Eagle Claw fishing products will be there with a few nice rod and reels as prizes, plus thanks to our Whitetails banquet, Porta & Grace, Venter Bros Lawn Pros, & Auto Glass Express.  we will have a lot of nice fishing prizes for the kids.

We will also have an archery game set up, thanks to the State Fair Archery Club and Rusty Toad Archery.  Pro Staff will be there to help with any questions, so bring your bow if you have one.  The American Legion will provide lunch as a fundraiser.  Yeager’s Cycle Sales is loaning us a 4wheeler to use for a hay ride to each of our stations.
