Edna Mae Mein age 86 of Cole Camp passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Care Center in Cole Camp.

She was born on June 26, 1927 in Cole Camp daughter of Edward Cord and Viola Lisette Maria Boeschen Mein. Early in her life she worked for the Bank of Ionia. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cole Camp where she was baptized and confirmed.

She enjoyed her flowers, gardening and geneology. She spent her time on the farm, visiting with neighbors and doing things for her church. She is survived by her cousins; Irma Lee Skidmore of Cole Camp, Kathryn Johnson (William Michael) of Sedalia, Jannette DeVore (Guy) of Sedalia, Kenneth Skidmore Of Jefferaon City, Esther Meyer of Stover.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother John Mein. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cole Camp with Rev. Stephen Zeller officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church on Wednesday. Serving as pallbearers will be William Michael Johnson, Seth Johnson, Ralph Rehmer and John Higgins.

Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth and Kathy Harms, Vaneeta Rehmer, Karen Higgins and Helen Tatum. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Cole Camp. Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Good Samaritan Care Center both of Cole Camp.
