Eldon Woman Struck by Car at Gas Station
An Eldon woman was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle being driven by another Eldon woman on Saturday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2006 Kia Sorento, driven by 21-year-old Taylor M. Cotten of Eldon, struck a pedestrian, 26-year-old Tabitha D. Stark of Eldon, as Cotten was repositioning her vehicle in a parking space at 1:41 p.m. Cotten also struck a rock wall at the Phillips 66 gas station where the incident occurred at 7 Acorn Drive south of Eldon in Miller County, near the intersection of Highways 52 and 54
Stark was flown to University of Missouri by helicopter for treatment with serious injuries.
