The Johnson County Emergency Operations Center released the latest COVID-19 count for Johnson County Missouri around 5:30PM tonight, March 25.

The count according the operations center is as follows:

Total Tests: 276 

Confirmed Negative Tests: 121 

Confirmed positive tests: 5 

Tests awaiting results: 150 

The Johnson County Emergency Operations Center says: "State and local health officials are continuing to trace activity and will attempt to notify those that have been identified through their investigation as someone who may have been exposed."

The Warrensburg Daily Star Journal reports that all five cases are confirmed. Additionally the newspaper says The Johnson County Emergency Operations Center will not be releasing a new press release for every new case / cases reported because they expect the positive tests to increase.

The State of Missouri's COVID-19 case count is updated daily around 2:00 - 2:30PM CDT daily. So the cases announced this evening are not included in their count. According to this afternoon's count there are no positives in Pettis County.
