Fatal Accident in Howard County Claims the Life of a Fayette Man
A 23-year-old man from Fayette was killed in a head-on collision February 4 in Howard County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire attempted to pass another vehicle on MO 5, a mile north of New Franklin. The Sunfire pulled into the path of a 2005 Monte Carlo. The driver of the Sunfire, 23-year-old Joshua Brice, was pronounced dead at the scene around 11:15 p.m. The driver of the Monte Carlo, 24-year-old Clay Walker of New Franklin, was taken to University Hospital with serious injuries.
