Fatality Accident Reported in Johnson County Saturday November 22, 2014

At 6:20pm Saturday evening the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a fatality accident that occurred on County Road Northwest 1050 a tenth of a mile west of County Road Northwest 21 in Johnson County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 2008 Case Magnum Tractor, driven by 33-year-old James M. Eichler of Warrensburg travelled off the roadway, and over a private driveway. The tractor struck a mailbox, and the towed unit struck a wooden fence. The driver was ejected out the left window, and was run over by the vehicle, and towed unit. The vehicle continued and travelled through a field, then across County Road 21, where it lost the towed unit. The vehicle then travelled into another field where it came to rest. Eichler was pronounced deceased at the scene at 8:53pm and transported to Sweeney Phillips, and Holdren Funeral Chapel.
