Pettis County Fire responded to a structure fire involving a vacant manufacturing facility on Randall Road just after 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

No injuries were reported, according to Pettis County Fire Chief Mike Harding, but the former Alcolac site was a total loss. Firefighters were on the scene for nearly three hours to battle the blaze. The Pettis County Fire Protection District was assisted by the Pettis County Ambulance District and Pettis County Sheriff's Office.

Harding says the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshall.
