A Hollywood, Florida man died in a bizarre mowing accident that occurred Saturday afternoon in Lafayette County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 68-year-old Mark. A. Ulrich of Hollywood Florida, was at 4751 Oakland School Road around 3:45 p.m, operating a 2021 zero-turn “Bad Boy” Mower, when the mower overturned and came to rest on top of the driver.

Ulrich was pronounced dead at the scene by Lafayette County Deputy Coots at 4:17 p.m. The body was taken to Stewart-Hoefer Funeral Home in Higginsville.

The mower had moderate damage.

Lafayette County Deputies assisted the three Troopers on scene.
