Footprints Lead Officers To Suspect In Hiding
On Monday at 10 p.m., Pettis County Deputies responded to a physical disturbance at 30625 Ball Road.
While responding, deputies learned that the male subject left the residence on foot. The subject was identified as Travis Alexander Lawson, who was known to law enforcement and was known to have multiple active warrants for his arrest.
Deputies were able to track Lawson's footprints through the snow, which led them to a separate trailer. Deputies obtained consent to search the trailer and subsequently located Lawson hiding in a bedroom.
Lawson was taken into custody on three active no-bond warrants and one $7500 warrant.
Lawson was also held pending new charges of 1st degree burglary and 3rd degree assault.
