Four people were injured in an accident on MO-52 in Pettis Conty around 9:30 p.m. on June 26.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 2014 Ford, driven by 42-year-old Will S. Hood of Houstonia, slowed because of an animal in the roadway and was struck by a 2004 Chrysler, driven by 22-year-old Shawn M. Pickett of Windsor.

Hood and three passengers in the vehicle, 26-year-old Mattie L. Hood, 38-year-old Jeremy G. Hood, and 14-year-old Brayden Hood, all of Sedalia, suffered minor injuries and were taken by private vehicle to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.
