Fugitive From Justice Arrested by Sedalia Police

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at 18th and Kentucky for a moving violation Tuesday night around 11:30 p.m.

The driver, 34-year-old Vladimir T. Shalnev of Sedalia, was found to have a drug-related warrant out of Texas. He was also found to be in possession of narcotics.

Shalnev was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold for fugitive from justice, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
