Funeral Announcements for Nov. 8, 2024

Funeral service for Sarah E. Stebbins, age 47, of Warsaw, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11 at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral from 1 to 2.  Interment will follow at the Shawnee Cemetery in Warsaw.

A celebration life for Mary Frances Alkire, 64, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

A memorial service for Melinda "Rusty" Eckles, 72, of Sedalia,  will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

The family of Brian Doyle Brockman, 55, of La Monte, will have a celebration of life from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 at American Legion Post #642, Sedalia. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family of Larry Dean Kreisel, 75, of Sedalia, will receive visitors beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m., at Rea Funeral Chapel. Feel free to drive your classic car and wear your favorite car show, sports or racing shirt. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, with full military honors conducted by the United States Navy and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

A celebration of life for Sheryl Ann Williams, 66, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23 at East Sedalia Baptist Church, 1019 E. 5th Street. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Memorial services for Dale Eugune Oakes, 77, of Sedalia, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Missouri Veterans Home Chapel in Warrensburg.  Inurnment will be following the service at Hopewell cemetery in Sedalia. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Services for Lonnie Joe Glover, 69, of Warrensburg,will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A family graveside service for Joyce Kathleen (Lutjen) Webb, 77, of Kansas City, will be held at Memorial Cemetery in Cole Camp, on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 1 p.m., with family to share a meal and memories immediately following.

Mass of Christian burial for Edward "Joe" Bode, 78, of Sedalia, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 at St. Vincent de Paul Parish Sacred Heart Chapel. The Rosary will be prayed prior to the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family of John William "Bill" Stuhner, 96, of Cole Camp, will receive friends from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Cole Camp with the rosary to be recited at 4 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia.

Visitation for Lynellen "Lynn" O'Neill, 70, of Sedalia, will be held from 1 p.m., until service time on Friday, Nov. 15 at Heckart Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
