Funeral Announcements for September 21, 2020

A graveside service for Carl Eugene Franklin, 94, of Sedalia, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Navy and VFW Post 2591. Family and friends may sign the guest book from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22 at Heckart Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Carol R. Slagel, 80, of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22 at La Monte Cemetery.

No services are scheduled at this time for Johnnie Wayne Price, 52, of Sedalia. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Highland Sacred Gardens.

Mass of Christian Burial for Kathryn B. Sieleman (Sealman), 96, of Sedalia, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22 at the Sacred Heart Chapel of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Arrangements are in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements are pending at Heckart Funeral Home for Marlene B. Patch, 86, of Sedalia.

Memorial services for Carol A. Barnes, 80, of Sedalia, who died July 13, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at First United Methodist Church on Thompson Boulevard in Sedalia. Those attending are asked to observe social distancing and wear a mask.   The service will be live streamed on Heckart Funeral Home's Facebook page.

Funeral services for JaEllen Hickman, 49, of Sedalia, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Joyce M. Wills, 86, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
