Eight entertainers will perform at the Genuine Country Music Association’s (GCMA) fourth annual benefit Classic Country Jamboree at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at Tan-Tar-A Resort, in Osage Beach.
The event will raise scholarship funds for students attending State Fair Community College-Lake of the Ozarks, funds for the Lake of the Ozarks Soccer Association and give traditional country music lovers a chance to hear their favorite music.
Returning by popular demand is Leona Williams, the international country music star who has written songs for and performed with country legends such as Merle Haggard, and George Jones, and many more; Ron Williams, Tim Atwood, Scotty Henderson, Alicia Farrell Lange,Dennis Stroughmatt, and The Board of Directors Band.
New this year, will be J.R. Love, a talented country and gospel singer from the St. Louis area.


Roxane Atwood
, a Nashville TV producer, announcer and voice-over artist, will be part of the emcee crew.
There will be a dance floor and concessions. A silent auction is planned, and there will be a special live auction for an “Intimate Evening with the Board of Directors Band.”
Tickets are $15 for GCMA members, $20 for non-members and free for children under age 12.
