We have a great way to finish off your Halloween week! Witches United is a fun junior theater production that tells the tale of witches Ritenburg who decide to “go good” and form a support group to keep each other on the straight and narrow.

However, not everyone is happy that the witches are no longer creating havoc. Join us at the Hayden Liberty Center to find out what happens when bad witches go good. Show times are Friday, Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. and continue Saturday, Nov. 4 with a 1:30 p.m. matinee and 7:30 p.m. show. Tickets are $10 each or $7 for youth age 11 and under.

The show is making its premiere on the Hayden Liberty Center Stage and was written by local playwrights Amber Reith Hutcherson and Carl Hutcherson. “We have a magic wardrobe and there are some awesome magic tricks, too,” said Amber.

Tickets can be purchased by calling (660) 827-3228, stopping by the Center at 111 West 5th Street in Sedalia, or via the website www.lcaasedalia.com.

“The youth in our community are working diligently on this production to make it great. From set-build to acting onstage, youth are involved in all aspects of creating Witches United. We are thrilled to be partners on this project with Sedalia Parks and Recreation,” said Courtney Wilken, program director. “We hope everyone will join us for this fun show.”

The Liberty Center culturally enriches the Sedalia area through quality arts programming and by providing an historic arts destination as a space for people to come together and celebrate the arts. Funding for the LCAA is provided in part by the Missouri Arts Council.
