Henry County authorities are searching for a man who fled early Tuesday morning after a vehicle stop.

The Henry County Sheriff's Department says just after midnight Tuesday, deputies stopped a vehicle on N. Main Street in Windsor.

The driver, 35-year old Casey Dewayne Slaughter, of Osceola, fled from the scene and was not apprehended.

Additional deputies assisted in the search for Slaughter, who is wanted by several jurisdictions for multiple gas drive off's in Pettis County, Johnson County, Cass County, Jackson County and Henry County in Windsor and Urich.

Slaughter reportedly has multiple warrants for his arrest out of St Clair, Cass and Clinton. From Tuesday's events, Slaughter faces new charges of felony resisting arrest by flight, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while revoked.
