Higginsville Teen Injured After Vehicle Strikes Cow in the Roadway

A Higginsville teenager suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident in Lafayette County at 8 p.m. on March 28.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 2002 Ford, driven by 16-year-old Lucas S. Mason, struck a cow in the roadway on Barb Road. Mason was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by private vehicle for the treatment of minor injuries.

The Ford sustained minor damage, it was driven from the scene.
