A Holden man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle wreck that occurred in Johnson County Tuesday night.

The MSHP said that 19-year-old Jaren O. Bockover was the driver of a westbound 1999 Jeep on US 50, just east of County Road 501 at 10:40 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the roadway, overcorrected, returned to the roadway and struck a guardrail and overturned, coming to rest on its top.

Bockover, who was not wearing a safety device, suffered serious injuries and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by JCAD.

Four Troopers were involved in the investigation.
