A Houstonia man was injured in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred Thursday afternoon in Pettis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a southbound 2009 Ford Ranger, driven by 40-year-old Kevin D. Patton of Houstonia, was on Highway 65, just north of Mt. Herman Road at 3:20 p.m., when he attempted to overtake a southbound 2017 GMC Accadia, driven by 31-year-old Justin R. Krause of Marshall.

Patton lost control of his vehicle and overturned.

Patton suffered minor injuries, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. Both drivers were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Accadia had minor damage, while the Ford was totaled.

Pettis County Deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
