I-70 Crash Injures Missouri Woman
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 55-year-old Sean F. O'Connel of Newburgh, Indiana was the driver of a westbound 2004 Chevy on I-70 at the 77 mile marker at 12:43 a.m. when the vehicle slid on the ice, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a westbound 2017 Dodge.
A passenger in the Chevy, Melissa Baez-Guiliani of South Bridge, Mo., was injured in the crash and transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital by Sweet Springs Ambulance.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene.
Saline County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
