In the early morning hours of Monday July 20 two unknown suspects broke into Baker's Armory on East Young Street and stole several firearms. On Thursday The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Warrensburg Police Department announced a reward up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of those responsible for the burglary.

Warrensburg Police originally responded to the burglary call and The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives got involved because Baker's Armory is a federally licensed fire arms dealer. Both ATF and the Warrensburg Police Department are investigating the crime.
