Seeing a waterfall in person is an experience I hope everyone gets to enjoy at least once in their life. One of those fantastic waterfalls is located in Missouri and is also the largest natural waterfall.

There are plenty of beautiful places right here in the Tri-States to get the perfect family photo backdrop. But, if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind backdrop I have found the ideal location. Great Falls Waterfall is located on Shoal Creek in Joplin, Missouri the 12-foot drop down and 163 feet long will give you the perfect photo opportunity.

How gorgeous is this place? You would never think that a waterfall like this would be in Missouri, but we are pretty darn lucky to be so close to something so beautiful. I mean, you think waterfall, and the first thing that comes to mind is Niagra Falls, not Joplin, Missouri.

The waterfall is surrounded by a park you can make a camping weekend out of it, bring the RV and just relax and explore this magnificent place. It looks like I will be taking the family here sometime, maybe not now in the winter, but I would love to see this in person sometime.
