A Sedalia man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday evening in Pettis County.

 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2013 Mazda 3, driven by a 29-year-old man from Sedalia, was on US 50 at East Prairie Grove Lane around 7 p.m., when the driver lost control and the Mazda ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

 

The man suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by PCAD. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

The Mazda was totaled and towed by InMotion.

 

29-year-old Terry G. Doyle of Sedalia was later arrested by the Patrol at 7:33 p.m. Henow faces charges of driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended.
