Missouri Native Chappell Roan Is Coming to the Video Game Fortnite
Let's pretend that I'm too old and mature to still be playing video games, but I have heard official word that Missouri native and pop culture icon Chappell Roan is being added to Fortnite.
If you're not familiar with the video game Fortnite, your kids most certainly are. The game developer just announced today that pop star Chappell Roan is being added to their online game battles. She will be known as the "Midwest Princess".
Here's what the software makers behind Fortnite said about Chappell Roan's inclusion in their game:
"Fortnite goes to the Pink Pony Club on February 5 as GRAMMY-winning Chappell Roan kicks off Festival Season 13! Chappell’s adding “Pink Pony Club” to her collection of Jam Tracks, with “Good Luck, Babe!”, “HOT TO GO!”, and “The Giver” returning for an encore."
Being the strict parent that I can sometimes be, I made my kids stop playing Fortnite because they had a hard time managing their tempers when they lost (which was often). However, millions do still play Fortnite so there's a good likelihood that you or someone you know (or parent) still plays it, too. If so, there's now a famous Missourian in your midst.
