Two men were injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Tuesday morning in Moniteau County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2002 Chevy Cavalier, driven by 39-year-old Michael A. Collins of Jefferson City, was negotiating a left turn at US 50 and Business 50 around 5 a.m., when a northbound 2005 Dodge 1500, driven by 19-year-old Matthew C. Lietzke of California, failed to yield and the Cavalier struck the Dodge. Both vehicles traveled off the side of the roadway.
