You need really clear skies to even have a chance of capturing something like this. A videographer in Missouri picked the perfect night to record a time-lapse video of stars resulting in a brilliant star trail.

This is a great example of why I follow Dan Bush on the Missouri Skies YouTube channel. According to the video description, this was captured on the night of October 5, 2023. It’s a series of images of a perfectly clear sky combined at the end to create a truly stunning star trail.

According to Dan’s description, this camera he was using was located in McFall, Missouri. That’s a good location to try and capture video like this as there’s not much light pollution in that part of Missouri.

If you don’t already, make sure to follow Dan Bush on the Missouri Skies YouTube channel. He frequently shares captivating videos and photos like this one. Nothing quite like watching the universe spin over our heads like the star trail in this one.
