Jean Marie Rehmer, 82

Jean Marie Rehmer, 82, of Sedalia, passed peacefully on February 9, 2013 at Rest Haven Conv. and Retirement Center. She was born on December 8, 1930, the daughter of Emil F. and Helen (Jamerson) Meier.

A consummate mother, grandmother and homemaker, Jean was a kind person with a brilliant mind. She enjoyed spending time with her family and in her flower gardens.

Jean had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, where she was the secretary for many years.

Jean was completely self-sufficient until the final 2 months of her life when the angels from Crossroads Hospice and Rest Haven provided assistance with her care. The family gives them and everyone else who cared for Jean their greatest gratitude.

Jean was preceded by her only son, Steven Wayne Rehmer of 46 years and her beloved dog, Snoopy. She is survived by her brother, James C. Meier and her grandson, Stephen "Sean" Rehmer.
