Johnson County Warning Sirens Self Activated Overnight

Due to an unknown technical issue, the outdoor warning system for Johnson County self-activated at approximately 12:30 a.m. this morning (Thursday).

According to a Facebook post, there was no emergency, officials said, and Johnson County EMA is working with Johnson County, Missouri E-911 and the City of Warrensburg to determine the cause of the malfunction.
