Joint Proclamation Observes Child Abuse Awareness & Prevention Month

On Tuesday, April 1 at 9 a.m., the Pettis County Commission issued a joint proclamation with the City of Sedalia, which was presented to Child Safe of Central Missouri, proclaiming April 2025 as Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month in Pettis County.

The Commission calls upon all citizens, community agencies, faith groups, medical facilities, and businesses to increase participation in efforts to support families, thereby preventing child abuse and strengthening the community in which we live.
