Lincoln Man Injured After Encountering Deer in the Roadway
A Lincoln man was moderately injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred in Benton County on Tuesday.
The MSHP reported that 31-year-old Terry E. Trester was the driver of an eastbound 2004 GMC on Route AC, one mile east of Hansen at 5:55 p.m., when he attempted to avoid hitting several deer in the roadway and lost control of the vehicle, and traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
Trester was taken to Lake Regional Hospital by Lifelight Eagle for medical attention. Trester was not wearing a safety device, according to the report.
The GMC was totaled.
