Linda Diane Duren, 64, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at her home. She was born on February 16, 1948, in Selma, CA, a daughter of Truman Short and Emma Mello.

On December 25, 1977, in Fresno, CA, she was united in marriage to Pops (Ken) Duren, who survives of the home. She enjoyed painting ceramic houses, needle point and quilting. She loved watching her grandkids play sports. When she was younger she attended the Assembly of God Church in Caruthers, CA.

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by six children, Randy (Lori) Duren of Squaw Valley, CA, Joe (Connie) Duren of Madera, CA, Adam (Cindy) Duren of Fresno, CA, Shawn (Diedre) Duren of Oakhurst, CA, Michelle (Tommy Darrah) Hendricks of Sedalia and Melissa Clemmons of Fresno, CA; fourteen grandchildren, Joey, Amy, Aaron, Sherri, Shelby, Kyle, David, Alicia, Tracy, Shannon, Ambur, Damien, Krystal, and Alissa; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Bentley; one sister, Debbie (Charlie) Schinke of Chandler, AZ and one brother, Eddie Short of Selma, CA.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Pastor Chris Guffey will be officiating the memorial service at 1:00 pm, Monday, December 17, 2012, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until service time.  Dinner after services will be held at Sedalia Moose Lodge. Honorary bearers will be Robert and John Wells.
