Man Arrested in Warrensburg for Sex Offender Warrants

On Wednesday (June 13), a 35-year old man was arrested in Warrensburg on several warrants, including failure to register as a sex offender.

Johnson County Sheriff's deputies responded to the 100 block of SE 125 Road in Warrensburg, where they arrested John Landers Jr.

Landers had 4 warrants out of Jackson County for failure to register as a sex offender with a total bond of $4,000.00. He also had 3 warrants out of the Lee's Summit for driving while revoked, license plates, and possession of drug paraphernalia with a total bond of $1,100.00.
