Man Drowns at Lake Taneycomo

A man drowned late Friday night after falling into Lake Taneycomo.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 50-year-old Frankie O. Mills of Rockaway Beach fell from a boat dock into the lake, located northeast of Branson.

Mills was pronounced dead by Taney County Deputy Coroner Bryan Koppitz at 11:15 p.m. The body was taken to Cremation of the Ozarks in Hollister.

This was Troop D's first non-boat related drowning for 2020.
