Man Taken to Pettis County Jail For Safekeeping

A 25-year-old man was placed in 12-hour protective custody after police were dispatched to East 14th and South Summit Avenue on Sunday night.

According to a Sedalia Police report, an impaired suspect, identified as Robert Allen Gullett Jr., had abandoned his vehicle in the middle of the road, wandered into a stranger's yard, and was talking to people who were not there.

The suspect was taken to the Pettis County Jail.
