Marshall Man Injured in Saline County Rollover

A Marshall man was injured in a rollover motor vehicle accident that occurred early this morning in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 23-year-old Aristeo E. Santana was the driver of an eastbound 2000 Chevy Blazer at 25765 Highway 240 around 12:30 a.m., when the Chevy traveled off the right side of the roadway and the driver overcorrected. The Blazer then traveled off the left side, struck a ditch and overturned.

Santana suffered moderate injuries and was transported to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia by Saline County EMS.

The Chevy was totaled and towed by Don's Truck Towing.

Saline County Deputies assisted the Patrol.

Santana was later arrested by the Patrol at 1:32 a.m., for driving while intoxicated.
