Mayor Kehde Establishes COVID 19 Community Helpline
In an open letter on the City of Sedalia's Faceook page, Mayor John Kehde established a community helpline for the citizens of Sedalia today.
In the online post, the Mayor said the helpline is to help stop the spread of Coronavirus locally and to help bring the community together.
We have established the COVID-19 Community Helpline to assist anyone and everyone with their daily needs. Our staff has the capacity to answer questions and if they’re not able to provide an answer at that particular moment, they will be sure to find an answer for you and return your call. The Helpline phone number is (660) 851-7686. You may also email your questions and/or concerns to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We can help with the delivery of pharmaceuticals, groceries and supplies. If you’re having a simple maintenance issue, for example a hot water heater not working, we have volunteers willing to help. Just as importantly our team will be glad to speak with you if you would just like to talk about the situation. We are here, ready to listen.
Earlier last month, Mayor Kehde declared a Civil Emergency for Sedalia, asking citizens to implement social distancing guidelines.
