18-year-old O’Fallon man injured in a Saline County accident

At 6:17 Sunday evening, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on I-70 just East of Route “J” in Saline County. The accident reportedly occurred as a 2005 Ford Mustang driven by 18-year-old Alvaro Rodriguez of O’Fallon ran off the roadway and struck a parked 2001 Ford Explorer driven by 28-year-old John Ezell of Oak Grove. Rodriguez suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital by Saline County EMS for treatment.

Warsaw man injured Monday afternoon in a Benton County accident

Around 2 p.m. Monday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident. According to the report, the accident occurred as a 2008 Nissan driven by 65-year-old Larry Burney of Warsaw was traveling on the Cedar Hill Loop just south of Lost Valley Road in Benton County. The accident report states Burney lost control of his vehicle on the ice covered road, ran off the roadway and struck a light post, mailbox and a tree. Burney was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries. He was taken to Bothwell Hospital by private vehicle for treatment.

Sunday afternoon accident in Henry County injures two Clinton residents

Just after noon on Sunday, two Clinton residents suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident that occurred on Missouri Highway 13 a short distance from Clinton. The Missouri State Highway Patrol report states the accident happened when the 1995 Ford F-150 driven by 51-year-old Leiann Faught of Clinton slid off the icy roadway and overturned, coming to rest on its passenger side. Faught and a passenger, 43-year-old Wilbur Ballmer of Clinton, received minor injuries and were transported to Golden Valley Hospital for treatment.

Rollover accident in Henry County injures four Calhoun residents

Around 6:30 Saturday evening, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a rollover accident that occurred on Missouri Highway 52 East of County Road Northeast 501 Road in Henry County. The accident occurred  as the 2007 Ford F-250 driven by 32-year-old Vincent Abell of Calhoun traveled off the roadway and overturned several times. Abell suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was transported to Cass Regional Medical Center for treatment. Three children, ages 8, 10, and 12, suffered minor injuries and were taken to Golden Valley Hospital for treatment.

Pettis County accident Saturday evening injures a Marshall man

At 6:15 Saturday evening, 28-year-old Ray Grapes of Marshall failed to negotiate a curve on US-65 Highway just South of 765 Highway in Pettis County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol report states the 2006 Malibu Grapes was driving traveled off the roadway and overturned into a ditch. Grapes received minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
