Here are your Missouri State Highway Patrol accident reports for Nov. 15, 2012.

Johnson County accident injures two Knob Noster residents

At 10:45 Wednesday night, the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Whiteman Airforce Base Personnel worked an accident on Highway “DD” and Highway 23 in Johnson County. The accident occurred according to the report as the driver of a 2005 Chevrolet, 22-year-old Tyler Dawson of Knob Noster, attempted to turn into the base and failed to yield the right of way to the 1988 Ford driven by 18-year-old Daniel Bannier, also of Knob Noster. The Dawson Vehicle reportedly struck the Bannier vehicle head-on before coming to rest in the roadway. The report also states the Bannier vehicle caught fire.  Bannier received moderate injuries and was taken to Centerpoint hospital by EMS for treatment. Dawson suffered minor injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment.

 

One-vehicle accident in Johnson County injures a Knob Noster man

Just before 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Highway “DD” two tenths of a mile west of County Road Southeast 691 in Johnson County. The accident reportedly happened as the 2010 Dodge, driven by 22-year-old Derek A. Patterson of Knob Noster, traveled off the roadway and struck an embankment. Patterson received minor injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment.
