Missouri State Highway Patrol Investigates Minor Accident

There was a one-vehicle accident that occurred last night (October 30) in the area of Forest Park Road, just east of South Grand in Pettis County. 

18-year-old Marquez Raye, was driving a 1995 Honda Civic and swerved to miss a deer and overcorrected. Raye traveled off the leftside of the roadway and struck a tree and overturned, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Raye had minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene, but his vehicle received extensive damage and had to be towed from the scene.
