Motorcyclist Injured in Pettis County Wreck
A Hughesville man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Pettis County Monday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 34-year-old Jason D. Opfer of Hughesville was the operator of a 2002 Harley-Davidson northbound in the 3600 block of South Marshall at 2:35 p.m. when he avoided overturning and struck a southbound 2006 Hyundai driven by 50-year-old Deyette M. Bragaw of Sedalia as he was making a left turn.
Opfer was transported by Life Flight Eagle to University Hospital in Columbia. Bragaw was reportedly uninjured.
Pettis County deputies assisted the Patrol at the Scene.
