A Girl Scout event will take place in Sedalia on Monday, January 29 for new troops in the area.

The registration for new scouts is open to all girls in Kindergarten - 5th grade!

Girls Scouts have the opportunity to gain skills in four areas: STEM, Outdoors, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship.

The troops can come up with their own ideas, build teams, and experience the joy of making a positive impact. Girl Scouts can earn badges, while also going on trips, exploring science, and selling cookies.

The registration event will take place at Sacajawea Program Center, located at 22720 Sacajawea Road in Sedalia. The event will be held from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.

The cost for Girl Scout membership is $25.00 (financial assistance is available).
