Northwest Junior High beats Lincoln

The Northwest-Sacred Heart junior high football team beat Lincoln 38-32 Monday night.

Leading Offensive Players included Grant Goodwin 144 yards on 14 carries and 4 touchdowns, Mason Cornine 49 yards on 7 carries and a touchdown, Grant Goodwin had 2 rushing PATs and threw for 2 PATs, Mason Cornine caught 2 PAT passes, Grant Goodwin was 2 of 7 passing for 18 yards, Owen Caton caught 2 passes for 18 yards

Leading Defensive Players included Vlad Lopez had 9 tackles , Grant Goodwin Mason Cornine and Owen Caton had 6 tackles each, Jace Bales had 5 tackles, Alan James recovered a fumble

With the win, NW/SH improves to 2 and 2. They play KC East on the Oct. 21 at Hughesville.
