One Injured in Sedalia Shooting

On Friday evening (Mar 2), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 700 block of E. 5th Street for a report of a victim with a gunshot wound.

According to the report, officers made contact with the male victim who said he had been shot by a person known to him

The victim was taken to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, by PCAD, for treatment. Police say the victim's wounds were not life threatening.

The name of the suspect was not listed in the report and no further details were available.
