Two Benton County residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Thursday night in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2013 Jeep Compass, driven by a 70-year-old woman from Warsaw, failed to stop at a stop sign at Highway 50 and Route W just before 7:30 p.m., and pulled out in front of a westbound 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by a 40-year-old woman from Lincoln.

The Grand Cherokee struck the right side of the Compass, which then traveled off the roadway, struck a snowbank and overturned.

The Lincoln woman suffered minor injuries, while the Warsaw woman suffered moderate injuries. The Warsaw woman was transported by PCAD to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene.

Pettis County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
